What People Are Saying
“Our family engaged with Kevin & Matt Kavanagh starting in 2023 to assist our son with his dream to play Division 1 Lacrosse. From the beginning of the relationship, the team was positive, transparent, highly consultative, knowledgeable, and professional. The team helped to map out our son’s goals with a structured plan to get there. They never made any false promises or sent our son in a misguided direction. They engaged regularly with our son and were also available to talk to the parents if we had any questions. There was a focus on the long game and not just the next “showcase.” They helped to prepare our son to present himself as a young man, student, and lacrosse player. They helped assess his schedule and where to spend his time. In the critical stages of the process, they provided valuable feedback from programs, and a realistic set of expectations come September 1st. My son and our family would highly recommend Kevin & Matt to families for their knowledge of the recruiting process, focus on the athlete as a whole, and for the integrity that they displayed in our interactions.”

“As parents, we couldn’t be more thankful for Kevin and Matt at KK Sports Management. They were with Jagger every step of the way — from helping him stay organized through a busy recruiting summer to guiding him on how to communicate with coaches. What stood out most was how much they genuinely cared about him, not just as an athlete but as a person. Their steady support and clear process made the entire journey smoother and ultimately led to his commitment to Duke University.”

“We feel very fortunate to have worked with Kevin and Matt Kavanagh throughout our son Will's lacrosse recruiting process. From the start, they built a strong level of trust with him through frequent, open, and honest communication about lacrosse and academics. Their guidance was invaluable in helping Will choose the most impactful showcases and focus his outreach on college programs that were the best fit. They also provided meaningful feedback on his game and mental approach, which made a noticeable difference in his confidence and performance. As parents, we especially appreciated how Kevin and Matt kept us informed at every step and helped us prioritize where to direct our energies. When the critical September period arrived, they were instrumental in working with Will's coaches to get timely and transparent feedback from Will’s target schools. We are thrilled with the outcome, and we know that the Kavanaghs’ support and insight helped make it happen. We recommend them highly to any family navigating the lacrosse recruiting journey.”

“When we joined forces with the Kavanagh team, our whole family immediately breathed a sigh of relief and felt less stressed and confused and more excited about Henry's recruiting experience. Whether parents are familiar with the process or not (we were not!), they take the time to really explain things and offer invaluable experience and advice to help us support our kid. We all worked together to identify and reinforce what areas our family most wanted help achieving or maintaining, which included strong academic performance, communicating with college coaches, and improvement on and off the field. We are grateful for their partnership and highly recommend their services!”
—Shari & Brady Frost (Parents of Henry Card- Class of 2027, University of Notre Dame Commit)
“The Kavanagh brothers were truly instrumental in the recruitment process of our son, Tripp. They gave Tripp the confidence to confidently send communication to coaches and help him identify the programs that best suited his game. They were wonderful in keeping Tripp focused on his personal goals and reviewing film with him to identify areas for growth and improvement. There is no question that they turned the confusing recruiting process into one with far less confusion or anxiety. We could not recommend their services any more highly.”
—Bill & Andrika King (Parents of Tripp King- Class of 2027, University of North Carolina Commit)
“The Kavanaghs have been such a gift to Charlie and our family during the lacrosse recruiting journey. They provided excellent guidance & feedback on Charlie’s lacrosse plans, while also encouraging him to stay focused academically in order to meet his goals. Kevin and Matt also connected with Charlie on a regular basis which built real accountability and independence as a student athlete. When the recruiting period intensified, Kevin & Matt guided him through call prep and made sure he was ready to step confidently into September 1. Thanks to their honesty, advocacy, encouragement, and steady support, Charlie was able to present himself in the best possible way to make his Division 1 lacrosse goals come to fruition. We are so grateful for their support and guidance over the past few years, and know that they were both instrumental in Charlie’s path to success.”
—Courtney & Bryan Giraudo (Parents of Charlie Giraudo- Class of 2027, Georgetown University Commit)
“We had such a great experience with the consulting provided by the Kavanaghs. We got great guidance on summer events to attend, reviews on film, how to communicate with college coaches, and a realistic assessment of target schools for our son. They were also available to help with any issues navigating the overall complex lacrosse landscape. It was really nice to have someone to rely on for advice and direction.”

“We used the Kavanaghs to assist my son, who is a 2026 attackman, in realizing his goal to play D1 lacrosse. Kevin and Matt worked extremely hard on our behalf, which resulted in a D1 Commitment very early in the recruitment process (mid-September). They were incredibly active and engaged throughout the entire process. They would touch base with my son, leading up to recruiting season, to discuss academics, training, upcoming tournaments, etc. What impressed me most was how they kept the parents informed and engaged on everything. They were extremely active in reaching out to coaches at every school on our “list” to discuss my son, his strengths, academics, his upcoming tournament schedule, etc. It was clear they truly cared and were noticeably passionate about helping him achieve his dream of playing D1 Lacrosse. We did not see this effort from other “recruiting resources” that we also tried to leverage. The differences between the Kavanaghs and other sources were stark, to put it mildly. I would highly recommend them!”
—John Holland (Father of Heath Holland- Class of 2026, High Point University Commit)
“The Kavanaghs were amazing to work with and allowed us to navigate through the recruiting process in a more informed and confident way. We were fortunate to have highly supportive and engaged school and club coaches, and the Kav team complemented their activities well. They spent time understanding what my son was hoping to achieve and were transparent about the best athletic, as well as academic fit. This was a very positive experience, and the Kavanaghs’ guidance and visibility around the process were invaluable.”
